The harbour and the jetties

The Harbour of the boat yard, on the eastern shore of lake Maggiore, is located in a little natural gulf sheltered from the winds; opposite the city of Arona, to the north it offers the pleasure to enjoy the view of the Angera fortress, a medieval castle owned by the Visconti family in the past and now property of the Borromeo family, and of the small Partegora isle only a 3-minute sail away.

The bottom of the harbour is regularly dredged, thus allowing navigation in quiet periods even for large draft sailing boats.

The Ingemar floating jetties, with zinc steel bearing structure and selected exotic wood flooring, are set up with the more and more appreciated “con fingher” mooring system which, apart from contributing to a greater stability of the jetty, makes the mooring easier even in unfavourable weather conditions, thus eliminating the problem of the uncomfortable mooring line.

The jetties, anchored to zinc steel poles that automatically regulate themselves according to the lake’s fluctuations, are equipped with water, electric power and ladders – certification RINA iso.
